The Intensive 3 Speaking & Listening course is 125 hours. Intensive 3 Speaking & Listening helps you build your pre-academic English skills for future study. The course teaches speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar, critical thinking skills, note-taking, and test-taking strategies. Students who complete Intensive 3 Speaking & Listening can take Intensive Speaking & Listening 4, Intensive Reading & Writing, and Support ESL.

Prerequisite: Completion of Intensive 2 Speaking & Listening - Beginning, or ACLI placement test results. To be successful in their ESL class, students must be able to use NOVA’s digital technology (email, Zoom, CANVAS).
