NOVA Workforce offers numerous programs to provide you with focused training in specific areas. This training allows you to develop new skills or enhance skills to become more productive on your job. Our career-oriented programs provide updated skills in high-tech areas and business management. As skills are gained, you develop a competitive spirit to seek advancement in the workplace. Invest in yourself today to advance your career tomorrow.
The Project Management Program Series provides you with an overview of project management best practices from beginning to end of an entire project life cycle and is based on the vocabulary and methodology of the PMBOK Guide®, 6th Edition (2017) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

While based on PMI’s global standard, Project Management Program Series courses promote effective application of the course content to assist project managers in their work.  If your goal is passing a PMI Certification Exam (PMP® or CAPM®), NOVA Workforce recommends you take a specific “Exam Preparation” course.

While there is no required order for taking these courses, Fundamentals of Project Management is recommended as a starting point if you are new to the field because it provides an overview.  Self-contained course design allows you to meet your interest in a project management topic without being dependent on other courses in the series.
Upon successful completion of each course, (90% attendance of all course hours and participation required), you’ll earn educational hours. These may be used to meet the educational requirements to apply to take a PMI Certification Exam, or to earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) to maintain your PMI Certification by following PMI’s CCR reporting instructions. See chart below.
