This 126-hour program series provides a general overview of the dynamic and growing field of HR management. Courses address human resource fundamentals and provide practical techniques that can immediately be applied to the work setting. Individual courses may be taken without pursuing the overall program. Please check class descriptions for prerequisites. All courses are approved for SHRM Professional Development credits. 

To obtain recognition for the HR Management Program Series you must successfully complete the ten required courses and pass a short comprehensive exam at the end of the program. Each course meets for 12 hours (1.2 CEUs) unless otherwise specified in the list below. All courses listed below are not offered every semester. In order to earn individual course completion certificates, you must attend at least 90% of the scheduled class hours for each course as well as complete all requirements set by the instructor. 

Prerequisite: Students must be proficient in spoken and written English in order to be successful in this program.
