There’s a real need for professionals who know the issues and impacts of data privacy in the Federal Government sector. This course teaches you the privacy know-how you need to successfully steward the Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in federal Government organization. The Course will prepare the student to take and pass the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Government (CIPP/G®) credential granted by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. The CIPP/G confirms that you know privacy laws and regulations and how to apply them thus securing your place in the federal government sector information economy. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
