If you are new to the UNIX Operating System, this course is for you. You'll learn fundamentals of a UNIX system, a necessary and sufficient set of UNIX Commands, and the key editor vi, and UNIX Shell as a programming language. Upon completion, you'll be able to start using UNIX commands and UNIX Shell to create and execute Shell scripts. Tuition includes all course materials. Textbook optional. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
