The CCENT certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. And the CCENT certification is the first step in achieving the CCNA Routing and Switching certification. Topics in this course include Basic Networking, Routing and Switching Fundamentals, TCP/IP and OSI Models, IPv4 and IPv6 Addressing, WAN Technologies, Command Line Interface for IOS, NAT, and DHCP. Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices, Part 1 (ICND1) is the exam associated with the CCENT certification. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This course only covers the topics associated with the ICND1 exam.  Prerequisites: Knowledge of networking. CompTIA Network+ certification is recommended. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
