This course will give you the foundations needed for the CompTIA® A+ certification exam. Software topics include installing, building, repairing, configuring, and troubleshooting. Hardware topics include installing, building, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of hardware. Through lectures and labs, you will learn how to install and set up operating systems, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and manage hardware using operating systems. Prerequisite: Working knowledge of personal computers. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
