Java is a general purpose programming language commonly used for developing and delivering content on the Web. You will learn the components of a Java program, compile and execute Java applications, and become familiar with object-oriented programming methodology. Prerequisites: Working knowledge of DOS commands and Windows. Programming experience is helpful. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
