A Data Scientist is a professional responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data for the purpose of decision making. This course will provide hands-on experience to help obtain fundamental data science techniques using Python and R. The course covers Data Management, Data Analysis, and Data Visualization utilizing data science techniques with a focus on the completion of a real-world Use Case as part of a collaborative team. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply data science techniques to real-world applications in order to solve business problems. Prerequisites: This course is for IT Professionals and IT Managers who want to learn data science fundamentals using Python and R. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
