FastForward Eligible Program:
To qualify for financial assistance for FastForward programs you must meet the Virginia domicile requirements. Virginia "domicile" means you have lived in Virginia and intended to stay here indefinitely for at least one year prior to the date of application. You must complete this online skills assessment
registering. The skills assessment ensures that you have the adequate foundation to benefit from the course content. If your test results do not meet the minimum requirements, a counselor will be in touch to discuss your options. You will be dropped from the class if you register without completing the assessment or if your score does not meet the minimum requirement.
This course will give you the foundations needed for the CompTIA® A+ certification exam. Software topics include installing, building, repairing, configuring, and troubleshooting. Hardware topics include installing, building, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of hardware. Through lectures and labs, you will learn how to install and set up operating systems, configure, troubleshoot, maintain and manage hardware using operating systems.

Bundled price includes both Hardware & Software courses, textbook and industry certification exams. Books will be handed out to FastForward participants on the first day of class.
What is Expected:
You must attend at least 90% of all scheduled class meetings, complete any requirements set by the instructor, and sit for the Industry Credential exam. You will have 30 calendar days from the end of the in-class program to sit for the exam.
You can register for only one FastForward program at a time. If you register for a second FastForward program while you are currently enrolled in a FastForward program, and you have not sat for the Industry Credential exam, you will be dropped from the second course.
