Research shows that a diverse and inclusive (D & I) workforce out performs a homogeneous one. D & I are critical to mission accomplishment, employee innovation, and high performance. Building the Business Case for D & I focuses on the entire talent life cycle…recruitment, selection, on-boarding, training and development, evaluation, and even termination. This “hands-on” course uses methodologies like self-assessments and case studies to explore the essential skills required to go beyond age, race, and gender and includes timely modules on trans-gendered employees, optimizing diversity of thought, micro-messages and micro-inequities, and conscious and unconscious biases. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
