This course introduces networking technologies, concepts and capabilities including: LAN concepts and functions, topologies, local/remote access and connectivity options, TCP/IP and OSI 7 layer protocols, cabling media, Internet connections, wide area networks (WAN), network operating systems and network management. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
