This course is a continuation of Web Design 1. students will learn the nuances of web design, how to manage client expectations along with web site design and implementation.  Students will have the opportunity to work with a sampling of various libraries and frameworks that enhance theming a web site as well as other approaches to manipulate the Document Object Model [DOM] and using a command line interface.

Prerequisite:  Web Design 1 class along with having sufficient foundational experience with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript to build a simple yet functioning multipage web site and use a tool to code e.g. text editor.  We encourage you to bring your own laptop to complete and save the course projects.

After completing Web Design 2 we will invite you to consider our Web Development 1 course which will introduce you to a back-end programming language (PHP 7) as well as relational database management systems (MySQL).

You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
