Java is a general-purpose programming language commonly used for developing and delivering content on the Web! In this fast-paced course, you will learn basic object-oriented programming methodology. You will learn the components of a Java program, how to compile and execute Java applications, how to use appropriate Java names, variables, data types and flow control in your programs. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation for learning the Java Programming Language and object-oriented programming methodology. Prerequisites: Introduction to Programming class, or Working knowledge of DOS commands and Windows. Programming experience is helpful. Textbook Required.
 
You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
