Are you new to Web Design?  In this hands-on course you will learn step by step, how to create dynamic websites with HTML5 and CSS. Explore the principles of web design with a focus on planning and designing web pages to meet usability and accessibility requirements. You will also discover how HTML, CSS and JavaScript work together to create a simple web site. Upon completing this course, you will have an understanding of hosting & domains, design principle and accessibility, web page structure & styling, as well as, CSS3.   Prerequisite: Students should have a good working knowledge of using computers and have access to one outside of the classroom. Also, be able to manage your file system, including creating, copying, moving, deleting and renaming files and folders. Students using a MAC computer should be able to move files between Windows and Mac. Students should be familiar with using and managing files on external storage devices e.g. USB drive. We encourage you to bring your own laptop to complete and save the course projects.  No Textbook Required.
You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion
