This course will give you the foundations needed for the CompTIA® A+ Core Series certification exams. Through lectures and lab exercises, you will learn to configure and support PC, mobile and IoT device hardware, configure device operating systems, and implement basic data backup and recovery methods. You will learn how to administer client-based as well as cloud-based (SaaS) software and support basic IT infrastructure and networking. You will also gain skills to troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation, change management, and the use of scripting in IT support. This course aligns to the CompTIA Core 1 and Core 2 exams. Prerequisite: Working knowledge of personal computers. Textbook required.
You must attend 75% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
