Cloud Architecture refers to the components and subcomponents required for cloud computing. Basically, it is the “blueprint” for building a cloud network. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing a secure cloud infrastructure. Cloud architects work on both the technical and business sides of cloud computing. They are responsible for bridging the gap between business problems and cloud solutions.
The Cloud Architecture Pathway is designed for those who are looking to jump-start or transition to a career in cloud computing. You will attend class Monday – Friday for seven weeks. This longer, boot camp-style program will dive deeper into the learning objectives and will help prepare you for three national industry certifications: CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate). CompTIA and AWS certifications are the industry standard for validating skills and knowledge for technical support and cloud computing. As more and more companies migrate their information and services into the cloud, cloud architects are increasingly in demand.
Required FastForward Courses:
FastForward CompTIA Network+ (84 hours)
CompTIA® Network+ is a vendor-neutral certification and provides you with a fundamental understanding of computer networks. Topics include Network Media, Architecture, Operations, Technologies, and Devices. Start your pathway to becoming a cloud professional with the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. You will gain an understanding of the AWS Cloud platform and learn about AWS core services, security architecture, pricing, and support services.
