ACLI ESL Placement Test

This placement test is for ESL classes offered through NOVA's American Culture & Language Institute (ACLI). All new students must take the ACLI ESL placement test before enrolling in ESL classes.

Step 1: Create a MyWorkforce Profile (new students only)

Step 2: Register for this ACLI ESL Placement Test (add to cart and check out) - it's free! You will receive a confirmation email with information on how to book your test appointment.

Step 3: Book your test appointment. Use the Bookings link in your confirmation email to book your appointment for a day and time that works best for you.

Step 4: Take the test. The ESL placement test will be on Zoom and has two parts. First, you will answer some questions, and then you will be asked to provide a writing sample. After you have completed the test, you will receive your ACLI ESL course recommendations in an email. Test results are valid for a year and can be used at all ACLI locations.

Step 5: Register for classes. Follow the instructions you received with your test results on how to register.
