Learn@Home: Instructor-led, Live via Zoom and CANVAS

The Part-Time ESL low intermediate level is made up of two courses: Part-Time ESL 4.1 (50 hours) and Part-Time ESL 4.2 (50 hours). Part-Time ESL 4.1 helps you build your English skills for life, school, and work. The course teaches reading, writing, speaking, and listening. You will develop the language skills needed to complete complex classroom, work, and social tasks. Students who complete Part-Time ESL 4.1 can take Part-Time ESL 4.2, Intensive Reading & Writing, Intensive Speaking & Listening, or Support ESL.

Prerequisites: Completion of Part-Time High Beginning (3.2) Level, Intensive High Beginning (3) Level, or ACLI placement test results. Lowest skill determines placement. To be successful in their ESL class, students must be able to use NOVA’s digital technology (email, Zoom, CANVAS).
