Python is a powerful dynamic programming language that lets you work rapidly and integrate your systems more effectively. It is platform independent and runs on Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac OS X, and has been ported to the Java and .NET virtual machines. As a result it is used in a wide variety of application systems. Python is free to use, even for commercial products, because of its OSI-approved open source license. This hands-on course will teach you to effectively program using Python programming language. Prerequisites: Prior programming experience is helpful. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
