The CCNA Routing and Switching certification demonstrates your knowledge to deploy, maintain, secure and operate a medium-sized enterprise network. Topics in this course include the Spanning Tree Protocol, OSPF and EIGRP IP routing protocols for IPv4 and IPv6, troubleshooting IPv4 and IPv6 routing, Virtual Private Networks, and implementing Point-to-Point and Frame Relay WANs. Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices, Part 2 (ICND2) is the exam associated with the CCNA certification.  IMPORTANT NOTICE: To sit for the ICND2 exam, you must first pass the ICND1 exam and earn the CCENT certification. If you are strictly pursuing the CCNA certification, you may take a longer, comprehensive exam that covers both ICND1 and ICND2 topics. However, this course only covers topics associated with the ICND2 exam. If you plan to take both exams (or the single comprehensive exam), you may take both CCENT and CCNA courses concurrently. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
