This course provides an overview of Wireless LAN (WLAN) fundamentals, technologies, and implementation. Topics include WLAN networking concepts and IEEE 802.11 standards, WLAN topology, architecture and security. As the last class in this certificate program, additional topics such as IPv6, reviews and practice tests for CCNA preparation will also be covered. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
