As you continue to expand your decoration and design skills, this course will familiarize you with key practices and techniques in the decoration process. You’ll learn how to prepare Design Directories, Design Briefs and Concept Boards, and expand your knowledge of different building components, finish materials and hand drawing techniques for professional-style presentations. Out-of-class exercises will allow you to begin establishing a basic network of vendors and suppliers. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
