Effective projects require planning, delivery of goods or services, and evaluating the results. Gathering and sharing information among stakeholders is the cornerstone of efficient coordination of any project. This course focuses on organizational communication requirements, stakeholder engagement, and strategies for effective project coordination. Topics include communications planning, the scope statement, resource and contract administration, and performance reporting. Through discussion, case study, and role-playing, participants will review and practice communication skills to enhance overall project management. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
For those who already have earned a PMP, this course can be used to earn 7 PDUs for PMP recertification.
