Delegating effectively is a critical skill that a manager or team lead needs to master for success on the job. It reduces a manager’s workload and increases employee engagement. Learn how to identify why managers fail to delegate; learn and apply the 4 major steps in the delegation process; examine the common mistakes made during the delegation process; decide what to delegate successfully; match delegated tasks with abilities and avoid reverse delegation; recognize the types of responsibilities that can’t be delegated; and learn how to monitor progress without over managing. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
