Learn advanced concepts required to successfully Administer the 2012 R2 Server. This course will prepare students for the Microsoft Windows Certification Examination 70-411: Administering Windows Server 2012 R2. This exam counts toward the MCSA and MCSE certifications. Topics covered include: the Windows Deployment Server, Windows Server Update Services, File server Resource Manager, Group Policy Objects (GPO)’s, drive encryption, configuring VPN & Routing and Remote Access, Network Policy Server, Network Access Protection and maintaining the Active Directory. Prerequisites: Working knowledge of Windows operating systems or equivalent networking experience. Textbook required. You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
