A nonprofit fundraising event can truly be fun to plan and organize, particularly when it pays off in real dividends to your charity, PTA, church, or other nonprofit. The key is to plan carefully. This workshop will give you an overview of do’s and don’ts for running a successful event. Discuss event types (including silent auctions), budgets, vendors, sponsorship, entertainment, volunteer management, event follow-up, and more! Learn the 10 landmines and opportunities that are critical for success – regardless of the event type – and receive event checklists for the top 5 events.  No Textbook Required.
You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
