Take a tour of America through some of its iconic sights used for some of the most famous movie scenes in cinematic history.  You’ll watch how a firehouse in New York City was transformed into the Ghostbusters headquarters, or retrace the famous steps of those locations is National Treasure. You’ll also learn the various roles of a film crew, with a focus on the equipment and gear, and get hands-on experience lighting a film set. An opportunity to act out a famous movie scene and record it is included.  [Note: this class is ideal for au pairs on a J-1 Visa to fulfill their education requirement and have an opportunity to explore American film culture through our real and virtual tours of the movies throughout the early 1900s to the present.]  No Textbook Required.

You must attend 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
