This is a FastForward Program: FastForward programs are short-term training courses for industry credentials in high-demand jobs. Eligible Virginia residents may pay only one-third (1/3) of the full tuition cost. To qualify, you must meet the Virginia domicile requirements. Virginia "domicile" means you have lived in Virginia and intended to stay here indefinitely for at least one year before the date of application. A domicile determination form will be part of your registration process. Additional financial assistance is available to offset some or all of the FastForward tuition costs. Learn@Home and On Campus (Hybrid – Instructor-led)
Considering a career in IT? The CompTIA® IT Fundamentals (ITF+) certification is the perfect starting point! It is also a great stepping stone for next level certifications. Through presentations, demonstrations, and knowledge-based exercises, you will gain a fundamental understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, computer application software, networking technologies and protocols, web browsers, identifying security risks, troubleshooting errors, and system maintenance. You will also learn about cutting-edge technologies such as cloud computing and virtualization.  

Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of PCs. 

What is Included: CertMaster Learn, CertMaster Labs, and industry certification exam. CertMaster Learn and CertMaster Labs ($95) are assigned to students on the first day of class and are non-refundable once class begins.

What is Expected: You must attend 70% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, and sit for the Industry Credential exam.
