Re-Employing Virginians (REV):
The Re-Employing Virginians (REV) initiative helps students cover the cost of tuition and fees in fields that will lead to careers. If you are domiciled in Virginia and are unemployed or underemployed due to COVID-19, you can receive up to $1,500 for FastForward
eligible short-term training programs and up to $3,000 for select classes for a career studies certificate or an associate degree at NOVA. The registration deadline is December 14, 2020. Learn more and complete the REV Self-Certification Form
FastForward is a short-term workforce credential program to train Virginians for top, in-demand jobs across the Commonwealth. Financial assistance is available to subsidize the cost of select pre-approved training programs
. To qualify for financial assistance for FastForward programs, you must meet the Virginia domicile requirements. If you qualify, you will pay one-third of the cost of the program. Learn more about FastForward
VA Ready is a non-profit organization supporting out-of-work and underemployed Virginias who commit to training for in-demand jobs so they can get back to work quickly. If you are currently unemployed or underemployed, you may be eligible to become a VA Ready Scholar
and receive a $1,000 Credential Achievement Award. Learn more about VA Ready
