This online, self-paced program developed by Google is designed to prepare you for an entry-level project management role.
Project managers play a key role in leading, planning, and implementing critical projects to help their organizations succeed. In this course, you’ll discover foundational project management terminology and gain a deeper understanding of the role and responsibilities of a project manager. We’ll also introduce you to the kinds of jobs you might pursue after completing this program. Throughout the program, you’ll learn from current Google project managers, who can provide you with a multi-dimensional educational experience that will help you build your skills for on-the-job application.
The program is comprised of 6 required training modules and one optional module, all featuring video lectures, quizzes, hands-on labs, and interactive widgets:
- Foundations of Project Management
- Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project
- Project Planning: Putting it all Together
- Project Execution: Running the Project
- Agile Project Management
- Capstone: Applying Project Management in the Real World
- Accelerate Your Jpb Search with AI (optional job preparation course)
To successfully complete the program, you must complete all required 6 modules within 6 months of your start date. To complete the program in 6 months, you will need to commit 10-15 hours per week to dedicated coursework. You may complete the program sooner than 6 months. However, you may not go beyond 6 months.
You must be 18 years old or older to enroll in this class.
