Get an overview of performance management, including its definition, benefits and application in most organizations. Learn how to implement a successful program or partner with line managers to enhance the process. Discover how to develop effective performance-management systems that involve goal setting, coaching and feedback, measuring performance against goals, performance appraisals, and employee development. Explore practical and proven concepts, models, approaches, tools and techniques to help determine whether training is the appropriate intervention for your organization's needs. Identify specific training needs and a process for establishing the necessary support and commitment to make training successful. Learn how to interpret and utilize the results of a systems approach to performance analysis and needs assessment. Textbook required.  This program is valid for 12 PDCs for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM.
You must participate in 90% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.
