Course Description: The CompTIA® Linux+ certification is the preeminent credential validating skills as a Linux Administrator. Linux has grown into an industry-leading software and service delivery platform that is used for everything from cars and smartphones to servers and supercomputers. As more organizations adopt Linux, the demand for skilled and qualified Linux professionals is on the rise. You will gain hands-on experience configuring, monitoring, and supporting servers running the Linux operating system all while preparing for the latest certification exam.
Prerequisites: CompTIA® A+ Certification, or a minimum of one year on-the-job work experience in networking, or a Degree (AS, BA, BS) in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber Security, or ITN 170 (Linux System Administration) - NOVA course completion with a C or better.
Included with Tuition: CertMaster Learn, CertMaster Labs, and industry certification exam. No other certification exams can be substituted in this program.
Note: CertMaster Learn and CertMaster Labs ($166) are assigned to students on or by the first day of class and are
non-refundable once class begins.
What is Expected: You must attend 70% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, and sit for the Industry Credential exam. You will have 30 calendar days from the end of the in-class program to sit for the exam.
