Learn to create three-dimensional models, views, details, and construction documents for architectural projects using Revit®!  You will be introduced to the concepts behind using parametric software and Building Information Management (BIM).  Topics include:
 
  • Week 1:  Import and input information (Residential)
  • Week 2:  Modify and edit
  • Week 3:  Commercial design
  • Week 4:  Printing and Presentation Drawings

Prerequisites:  An understanding of architectural drafting conventions, minimal computer skills required.  Textbook required.

You will have access to the Revit® software via the college virtual server - please set up and access this BEFORE the first class session.

You must attend 70% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.

Important Reminder for Revit Students:  Students are required to set up and access the college Virtual Software Lab before the first class session (or have the software installed on their personal computer).
