CISSP® certification is the most well-known standard of achievement confirming your knowledge in the field of information security. Gain a solid knowledge of the field and prepare for a wide range of IT careers, especially Federal jobs. This program is specifically tailored to go beyond basic concepts and skills to cover critical topics in information security. It includes test-taking strategies and practice questions to maximize your ability to pass the exam. This class is based on the (ISC)2 exam blueprint effective April 2024. Textbook required.  
 
You must attend 70% of all scheduled class hours, in addition to completing any other requirements set by the instructor, in order to pass the class and be awarded CEUs and a Certificate of Completion.

CISSP Certification Information

Eligibility Requirements
  • Candidates must have a minimum of five years cumulative, full-time experience in two or more of the eight domains of the current CISSP Exam Outline.
  • A post-secondary degree (bachelors or masters) in computer science, information technology (IT) or related fields may satisfy up to one year of the required experience; or an additional credential from the ISC2 approved list may satisfy up to one year of the required experience.
  • If you don't meet this requirement, you can take the exam and become as Associate of ISC2 until you gain the experience (up to six years).
Pass the Exam and Get Endorsed
  • After passing, you must be endorsed by an ISC2 certified professional who can verify your experience.
  • Submit your endorsement application within nine months of passing the exam.
Pay the Annual Maintenance Fee
  • Once certified, you must pay a $125 annual fee (due on the anniversary of your certification date) and earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits to maintain your certification.
